Nina Métivier


Nina Métivier is a BAFTA-winning writer, producer and script editor.  In 2018 she acted as a script editor on Dr. Who, working on the episodes The Woman Who Fell to Earth and It Takes You Away. Early in 2020 Nina wrote her own episode for series 12, the majestically titled Nikola Tesla’s Night of Terror.

Nina’s has moved between roles including writer, story editor, and producer on different shows over the past ten years. She began her career as a script editor and development executive at Kindle Entertainment, initially working on some of their most successful children’s output.  She script edited Big and Small (starring Spyfall’s Lenny Henry), wrote and script edited Dinopaws (starring Sherlock’s Amanda Abbington) and a modernised version of The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby.

During her career Nina developed, co-wrote and produced four seasons of CBBC‘s teen drama series ‘Dixi’, for which she was awarded a BAFTA.  She has also co-created and co-wrote the acclaimed teen thriller series The A List for BBC iPlayer, which has now been picked up by Netflix to air internationally.
