Open Events

All of our open events are designed to show you and your family important aspects of life at Stockport Grammar School.

Current pupils will give you a tour, during which you can meet our teachers, take part in fun activities and listen to talks from Head Mrs Sarah Capewell and children currently at the school. Senior members of staff will also be available to answer any questions you might have about the school. Free car parking on the school site and refreshments are available at all of our open events.

We held Open Events on Saturday 23rd September 2023 and Saturday 11th November 2023.

School Day Tours

Taster Events 2023

We hold three Year Five Taster Days in the Summer term. The Taster Days for the 2022-2023 academic year took place on 24th May, 25th May and 13th June. We will share the dates for the 2023-2024 academic year once they have been decided. Please email Events and Marketing Officer Mrs Hannah Atenyam on atenyamh@stockportgrammar.co.uk for information on opportunities to visit SGS.
