Year Five children are invited to enjoy a day in the Senior School as they prepare for the exciting transition to secondary school.
What happens on a Taster Day
Taster Days run from 9am to 3pm and feature a series of fun and educational activities such as Science, Drama, Maths, PE and Art.
After registering in the Dining Hall, children are assigned to one of three groups and take part in four lessons that will inspire and provide them with a taste of senior school life.
Children will be able to meet up and socialise with members of the other groups during morning break and lunchtime.
We provide free refreshments and lunch, where there is a wide choice of options to suit most tastes and dietary requirements.
Clothing and equipment
Children should wear casual clothes with trainers so that they are comfortable and able to take part in a PE session.
We provide all the equipment the children need for their lessons.
Children should be collected at 3pm from the Dining Hall, where members of teaching staff will be available to answer any questions.
