Our Sixth Form balances structure with flexibility in the timetable, and increased independence. SGS Sixth Formers have their own café, study and social spaces in our new Sixth Form Centre. Students benefit from individualised support for university applications, apprenticeships, and career guidance from our dedicated Careers department and UCAS Advisers.

We promote creative and flexible thinking, developing self-esteem, and awareness of others’ needs. Students collaborate and take on leadership roles in activities such as Model United Nations, Young Enterprise, Duke of Edinburgh Award, and across our varied co-curricular programme. We hold a Platinum Artsmark Award, the highest possible grading from the Arts Council England.
