Visit the Junior School and Pre-Reception

Virtual Visits

The Junior School is currently closed to visitors but that does not mean that we can’t show you around. We are pleased to be able to offer you the opportunity to have a private and interactive virtual tour with the Junior School Headmaster.

During the tour you will ‘meet’ with the Headmaster, Mr Tim Wheeler, who will talk to you about the school and the broad education which we provide and give you a virtual tour of our excellent and extensive facilities.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss your child’s specific needs and your expectations.

You are welcome to book a tour whether or not you have already visited on a prior occasion.

Virtual Tours are available now and an appointment can be booked by emailing the Headmaster’s Secretary Mrs Beverley Cheyne on cheyneb@stockportgrammar.co.uk.

Open Events

The next Pre-Reception and Junior School Open Event takes place on Saturday 3rd October 2020.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to see how we inspire every child and create a lifetime of opportunity. All of our open events are designed to show you and your family important aspects of life at Stockport Grammar School.

Our teaching team will welcome you and your child to the open event, where you will be invited into our classrooms to see our pupils’ work and just a small sample of what goes on in our school. Free car parking on the school site and refreshments are available at all of our open events.

Stockport Grammar Junior School is a busy and exciting environment for children to flourish, to get a taste of the activities that inspire the children explore the Junior section of our website and follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

When you visit in October, you will be able to see how our latest building project, a new purpose built Pre-Reception classroom and additional outdoor play and learning spaces, will create a sense of adventure and exploration for our pupils.
