Outdoor Education

From mountain biking to orienteering and kayaking to climbing, there’s something for even the most adventurous pupils at Stockport Grammar School.
The school has a long history of taking pupils on hiking excursions, activity weekends, camping and ski trips. This, teamed with the large number of girls and boys that participate in the school’s Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme, means that the majority of pupils have taken advantage of the outdoor education opportunities on offer.
The table below shows Outdoor Education activities for the 2021-2022 academic year. More clubs will be added in due course.
